NEAT presents Songs and Texts about Woody Guthrie

The New English American Theatre (NEAT) presents an evening by Jadi Campbell dedicated to the iconic U.S. singer/songwriter Woody Guthrie and his perspective of the American Dream. In more than 3,000 songs (e.g. "This land ist your land"), Woody Guthrie expressed the spectrum of the American experience in a way few other writers have. As he "roamed and rambled," he captured the essence of the places and the mood of the people, writing "hard hitting songs for hard hit people."
